Viola Flute English

Listed only by Irwin, who says:

A Flute stop of 8' or 4' on the manuals, compounding in one rank the mild String tone of the Viola and the sympathetic round overtones of an open Flute of soft intonation. The Viol Flute is brighter in tone. This stop may resemble a very round-toned Viola d'Amore, and may in some examples even become quite string-like.
