Examples

Osiris contains three dozen examples of Posaunenbass at 16' pitch, seven examples at 32' pitch, and seven examples of Posaunbass at 16' pitch. The oldest ones are given below.

Posaunenbass 32', 16', Pedalwerk; St. Jakobi, Hamburg, Germany; Schnitger 1693. Another source spells these examples Posaune; we do not know which is correct.

Posaunbass 16', Pedal; Ochsenhausen, Baden-Württemburg, German; Gabler 1755.
