Octave Horn English

This name has been used for a number of different stops. According to Strony, it may indicate a Horn Diapason of 4' pitch, an Oboe Horn of 4' pitch, or a similar reed. Irwin describes it as a smooth-toned reed which may be borrowed from a Horn rank.
