Fagottbass German?

Mentioned only in passing by Audsley, who provides no definition. The suffix “bass” is often used in German stop nomenclature to indicate that the stop belongs to the Pedal; we may therefore assume that this stop is merely a Fagott that appears in the Pedal.

Examples

Fagottbass 16', Pedal; Cathedral of Ulm; Walcker.
