Doppelrohrbordun German

This stop is listed only by Irwin, who says:

A half-covered Flute of 16', 8', or 4' on the manuals and pedals, resembling the Doppelrohrgedeckt in structure, but with a heavier and louder tone than that stop. It contributes fundamental prime tone and a few of the lower-pitched overtones to any other stops without imprating character of its own to the combination. Scale and volume vary in this stop.

See Doppelrohrflöte.
